VW Jetta Light Up Emblem (2015–2025) — LED Illuminated Front Badge Compatible with ACC/Radar
Give your Volkswagen Jetta a premium factory-matched front-end upgrade with this VW Jetta light up emblem — a direct OEM-style replacement for your factory front badge that adds a crisp, high-intensity white glow every time the car is running. Compatible with all Jetta models from 2015 through 2025 including the MK6.5, MK7, and GLI across all trim levels, this illuminated badge requires no drilling, no cutting, and no coding at any stage of the installation.
The Jetta is one of the most popular Volkswagens sold in North America, and the front badge is one of the defining visual elements of its clean, well-proportioned front end. This LED upgrade preserves every dimension and mounting detail of the original badge while adding the illuminated effect seen on premium-trim VW models worldwide — a subtle but highly visible upgrade that elevates the front of the car at dusk and at night.

Jetta Generation Compatibility
| Jetta Generation | Years | Compatible Trims |
|---|---|---|
| Jetta MK6.5 | 2015–2018 | S, SE, SEL, SEL Premium, GLI |
| Jetta MK7 | 2019–2025 | S, SE, SEL, GLI, R-Line, Sport, Wolfsburg |
ACC Note: All Jetta trims from SE upward on the MK7 (2019–2025) include front emergency braking as standard. The S base trim on 2019–2021 models may not have ACC. All versions of this emblem use the ACC-compatible 7mm housing regardless of trim. If you are on the S base trim without ACC, the emblem is still fully compatible — the radar rating simply confirms it is safe for those that do have it.
Jetta GLI — Special Notes
The Jetta GLI is the performance variant of the seventh-generation Jetta. Despite its more aggressive front bumper design, the badge housing position and mounting dimensions are identical to all other MK7 Jetta variants. The same light up emblem fits the GLI as all other 2019–2025 Jetta models. Front assist is standard on all Jetta GLI trims, confirming that the ACC-compatible housing is the correct choice for every GLI buyer.
Line Style vs Full Illumination
Two illumination styles are available for the Jetta light up emblem:
- Line Style — illuminates only the outer ring and inner arcs of the VW roundel, creating a precise outlined effect that mirrors Volkswagen’s own factory illuminated badge design. A clean, contemporary look suited to owners who want a subtle, factory-matched upgrade.
- Full Illumination — lights the entire badge face uniformly for a brighter, bolder solid glow. The Jetta does not have factory LED running bars on most trims, which means the badge is the primary illuminated front element. Full illumination gives it the visual presence to hold that position confidently.
Wiring — How It Connects
The Jetta does not come with factory LED daytime running bars on most trim levels, so the fuse box connection is the standard installation method for all Jetta variants:
- Route the emblem harness from the badge position into the engine bay
- Locate a switched ignition circuit in the engine bay fuse box
- Tap the circuit using the included fuse tap connector
- Connect the negative wire to a bare metal chassis ground point
The emblem then powers on and off with the ignition automatically. No factory wiring is modified and the installation is fully reversible. Full wiring instructions are included with every order.
Installation — Under 30 Minutes
- Open the bonnet and locate the factory front badge on the grille panel
- Release the retaining clips from behind the grille panel and remove the factory badge
- Press the new LED emblem into the factory mounting position until all clips engage
- Route the wiring harness to the fuse box and connect using the fuse tap connector
- Connect the negative wire to a chassis ground point
- Test illumination before closing the bonnet
No drilling, no specialist tools, no coding. Fully reversible — your factory badge can be refitted at any time. Estimated installation time: 20–30 minutes.
