How the Self-Leveling Mechanism Works?

Inside the cap housing is a weighted pendulum counterbalance attached to the VW emblem plate. As the wheel rotates, gravity acts on the counterbalance to continuously pull the logo back to the upright position. This means the VW roundel always faces forward and level regardless of wheel rotation speed — a subtle but highly effective visual upgrade that distinguishes floating caps from standard replacements.

1. Remove your existing factory wheel center caps by inserting a flathead screwdriver or trim tool behind the edge and levering gently
2. Clean the wheel hub bore of any dirt or residue
3. Align the new floating center cap over the hub bore and press firmly until it clicks into place
